Services for Philip Ryan Guidry, 38, will be held at 11 a.m., Sept. 16,
2011 at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel, 9891 Texas Hwy, Many, La. with full military honors. Interment will follow in the Aimwell
Cemetery, 1892 Hwy. 1215, Zwolle, La. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral
home.
Philip graduated from Anacoco High School in 1992. He served his country in the U.S. Army for 16 years as a Military Police. During his service to his country he served in Germany, Rwanda, Bosnia, Haiti, Korea, Ft. Belvoir and Fort
Polk.
Philip was born at Fort Hood, Texas on Sept. 17, 1972 and entered into rest on Sept. 11, 2011, at the VA Medical Center in Pineville.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Eugene and Loraine Hromas and
paternal grandfather, John Harry Guidry. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Tricia M. Guidry of DeRidder; parents, Richard and Barbara Guidry of Many; paternal grandmother, Mildred Guidry of Rayne; four daughters, Alyssa N., Alyczandra M. AraWyn
J. and Aslynn P. Guidry; one brother, Patrick Guidry and wife Shannon of Simpson; and nephews A.J. and Noah Guidry.
Serving as pallbearers will be the Military Honor Guard.
