Stella C Brabham

Funeral services for Stella C. Brabham, 82, of Leesville, will be held at
10 a.m. Sept. 14, at First Baptist Church in Leesville with Rev. Jerry Penfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Castor Cemetery in Leesville, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held
from 5-10 p.m. Sept. 13, 2011, at the funeral home.
Stella, the daughter of George Everett and Molly Belle Turner Craft, was born on March 31, 1929, in Leesville. She passed away on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011, at Rapides Regional Hospital in
Alexandria. Mrs. Brabham was a member of First Baptist Church of Leesville. She worked for the U.S. Forestry Service for 30 plus years and as a Wal-Mart greeter for 20 years. She loved to read, cook and serve her family and friends. She was truly a
peacemaker.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Jean “Jeanie” Gilcrease.
She is survived by her son, David and Rhonda Brabham Sr., of Buna, Texas; sister, Robbie Lee Neff of Leesville; grandchildren, Daniel
Brabham, David Brabham, Jr., Deanna Garig, Rebekah Tannehill, Donna Davis, Candace McGee and Stacy Gilcrease; 12 great children; and two great great grandchildren.
