Glenn Lee Oden, 92, of Paris, Ark. was born April 1, 1919 in Magazine, to
Rueben and Ferba Oden. He passed away Sept. 11, 2011 in Paris, Ark.
Glenn was a retired carpenter for the federal government and a retired Assembly of God minister having pastored many churches in Louisiana and Arkansas. He was a member of
the First Assembly of God in Paris. He is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Nora Savannah Parrish Oden and a daughter Letha Jane Oden.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Assembly Of God in Paris, Ark. with
burial following at Oakhill Cemetery in Booneville. Under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home of Booneville, Ark.
He is survived by: wife, Lucille Oden; sons, Glenn Paul Oden and wife Karen of Seattle, Wa., Joe L. Oden and wife Marilyn
of Leesville; daughters, Francis Cezar and husband Richard of Ala., Doris Arreola and husband Gilbert of New Mexico; stepdaughter, Betty Sorrells and husband Bill of Russeville, Ark.; 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and one great great
grandchild.
Pallbearers will be: Jackie Turner, Junior Nickerson, Marvin Wiggins, Charles Knowles, Richard Zimmer and Bill Stovall.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Bill Sorrells, Joey Oden.
The family will visit with
friends from 6 to 8 Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
