Pinkney Francis Spears

Funeral services for (Pinkus) Pinkney Francis Spears, 86, of Hornbeck will
be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 8 at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville with Rev. Donald Spears officiating. Burial will follow in the Prewitt’s Chapel Cemetery in Hornbeck under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of
Leesville.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 8, from 9 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
Pinkus, the son of Pinkney Jackson and Mary Frances Stewart Spears, was born on February 6, 1925, in Anacoco. He
passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2011, at the Woodlands Health Care Center in Leesville. He married (Dinah) Eola Belle Sigler on July 14, 1943; in the 68 years of marriage they never had one argument.
He was a lifelong Mason of the
Masonic Lodge of Hornbeck.
He was preceded in death by his wife, (Dinah) Eola Belle Spears and daughter, Sharon Warner.
He is survived by his son Donald and Connie Spears of Hornbeck; four grandchildren, Debet and Chuck
LeBlanc, Donnie and Belinda Spears, Richard Warner III and Michael Warner; six great grandchildren, Justin, Brooke, Chelsie, Matthew, Logan and Daniel.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Spears, Daniel Spears, Justin LeBlanc, Matthew LeBlanc,
Chuck Leblanc, Jack Spears, Richard Warner, III and Michael Warner.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Brooks Bridges and Logan Warner.
