Funeral services for Shiely Jean Jones, 58, of Leesville, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 6, 2011, at Ellen Burr Baptist Church in Leesville with Pastor Derrick Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories
Cemetery in Leesville, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday, August 6, 2011, at the church.

Shiely, the
daughter of Mervin and Minnie Jones was born on May 24, 1953, in Leesville. She passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2011, at Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville. Mrs. Jones was a lifetime resident of Leesville. She was a homemaker and charter member of
Ellen Burr Church.

She is survived by her companion of 35 years, Johnny Edminston of Leesville; son Freddie Lee Jones and wife “Tot” of Lafayette; two grandchildren, Fredrick Daniels and Cotorra Jones both of Lafayette;
brothers, Dan Jones of Leesville and Floyd Jones of Okla.; and sisters, Martha Porter of Atlanta, GA, Dove Jones of Leesville and Dianna Jones of Leesville.
