Robert A. “Bobby” Schott, 50, of Galesburg, Ill., died at 12:30 a.m. Monday, August 1, 2011 in OSF St. Mary Medical Center.
He was born November 11, 1960 in Leesville, the son of Robert E. Schott and Burnita Scoggins Schott.
He married Angelique Hulse in 1989 in Panama City, Fla.
He is survived by his wife, Angelique; three sons, Rogue, Rebel, and Renegade, all of Galesburg; two sisters, Cheryl Schott and Anita (and Glen) Davis, both of Leesville; a nephew,
Keith Schott of Peoria, Ill. along with several other nieces and nephews; his in-laws, Pam and Harold Hulse of Galesburg; and a brother-in-law, Rhett Hulse. He is also survived by a step-father, Charles Strother of DeRidder; and step-mother, Faye
Schott of Simmesport. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Bobby was an offshore driller with Sedco and then worked for Butler Manufacturing Company in Galesburg for 12 years. He graduated from Leesville High School in 1978. Bobby
enjoyed being a full time father and was also a longtime volunteer with Cal Ripken Baseball.
Cremation will be accorded. No visitation or service is planned. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family. Online condolences may
