Funeral services for Kevin McKinley Johnson, 21, will be held at 2 p.m.
Friday, July 15, 2011, at Gravel Hill Baptist Church in Cravens, with Rev. Hardy Estes and Rev. Wayne LaCaze officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Cravens under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in
DeRidder. Kevin passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2011, in a vehicular accident. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 14, 2011, in Gravel Hill Baptist Church in Cravens and continue until time of the service.
Kevin was born in
DeRidder, but lived all his live in Cravens. He was a volunteer fireman at the Cravens Fire Department and was employed by Diversified where he worked in power line construction.
Survivors include his daughter, Kentlie Johnson of DeRidder;
mother, Alva Eileen Howard and husband Terry of Pitkin; and father, Jerry McKinley Johnson and wife Betty of Cravens; two sisters, Becky Johnson and Dana Johnson, both of Pitkin; and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harlis Lee Johnson of Cravens
