Johnnie Ruth Evans, 72, of Anacoco, passed from this life on Wednesday,
June 29, 2011 at her residence.
Ms. Evans was a lifelong resident of Vernon Parish. She was a member of Crystal Springs Baptist Church in Anacoco.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Evans, and brothers, Jimmy
Mattox and Jerry Mattox.
Survivors include her son, Charles Evans and wife Donell of Anacoco; daughters, Darlene Burns and husband Houston of Leesville, Donna Servello and husband Philip of Anacoco; aunt, Edith Mattox of Anacoco; sister,
Angela “Tinker” Krebs and husband Don of Louisville, Ky.; grandchildren, Hope Kuhlow, Aaron Evans, Megan Evans, Jennifer Evans, Hailey Servello; great grandchildren, Suzette Kuhlow, McKenzie Kuhlow, Garrett Kuhlow; and a host of nieces and
nephews.
Visitation will be from 4-1 p.m. today, July 1, 2011 at Crystal Springs Baptist Church in Anacoco. Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday July 2, 2011 at Crystal Springs Baptist Church. Bro. John Kautz will be officiating. Burial will
be in Mitchell Cemetery in Anacoco, under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home in Leesville.
