Funeral services for Mrs. Evon H. Lee will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May
25, 2011, in the Pleasantview Baptist Church in Hornbeck, with Bro. Kenneth Baggs and John Lewing II officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Forest Cemetery in Leesville under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2011, until time of service Wednesday at the church.
Mrs. Lee passed away Saturday, May 21, 2011, in the Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria.
She was preceded
in death by her parents, Joe and Dovie Hext; her son, Jeffery Lee; brother, W.D. Smith; and four sisters, Audrey Bourque, Dorothy Browning, Thelma Semons and Linda Faye Hext.
Mrs. Lee is survived by: husband, J.W. Lee of Hornbeck; three
daughters,Belinda and Garry Pridgen of Hornbeck, Karen Lee of Florien and Deloris Lee of Ville Platte; one brother, Joe Hex of Houston,Texas; five sisters, Aubrey West of Deweyville, Texas, Faxon Lee Ross of Singer, Dovie Curtis of Hornbeck, Donna
Faye Dowden of Hornbeck and Deloris Rogers of Hornbeck; one sister-in-law, Vickey Gibson of Hornbeck; one brother-in-law, Edwin Lam of Hornbeck; five grandchildren, Brittney Lee, Samantha and Stevie Grable, Kayla Hopkins, Courtney Pridgen, Nathan
Wilson; one great grandchild, Tucker “Dunner” Grable.
