Pete was born on April 8, 1937 in Leesville, the son of Ben Ed Graham and
Docia Trull Graham. He passed away Sunday, May 8, 2011 in Alexandria, at the age of 74 years and one month.
Pete retired as a roadway inspector for the state of Louisiana. He also worked sixteen years for the Vernon Parish Police Jury as a
bridge inspector.
He was the best Pop and Pa in the world, and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Pete is survived by: his wife, Shirley Graham of Leesville; four sons, Billy Graham and wife Robie of Leesville, Jeff Graham of
Leesville, David Graham and wife Rita of Hillsboro, Texas, Alex Graham and wife Teri of Sandia, Texas; two daughters, Tammie Raney and husband Robert of Greenville, Texas, Kay McGraw and husband Jim of Manassas, Va.; one brother, and two sisters,
George Graham of Silsbee, Texas, Bessie Tisdale and husband John of Richardson, Texas, Betty Mitchell of Leesville; 24 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are his grandsons, Michael Graham,
William Raney, Cody Graham, Nick McGraw, Bud Graham, Justin Graham, Jawny Cannon and Danny Gollihugh.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 10, 2011 beginning at 4 p.m. and continuing throughout the night at Jackson Chapel. Service will be
Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Jackson Chapel, with Bro.Travis Murray and Bro. T.R. Webb officiating. Burial will be in Stephens Cemetery, Leesville, under the direction of Hixson Funeral home Leesville.
Pete’s family would like to
