Jana Beth Mitcham, 63, passed on May 15, 2011 at her home in Cypress, Texas after a lengthy illness. Jana was born in Morrilton, Ark. and raised in Lake Charles, by her parents Hanan and Betty Cossey. She graduated from La Grange High
School in 1966 and then McNeese St. University in 1975. Jana went on to become the co-founder of a large international marketing company, traveling and speaking throughout the world.
She was survived by her mother Betty Cossey; sister Judy
Bertrand (David), brothers Rick Cossey (Gayle) and Steve Cossey (Jeanie); her husband of 43 years Thomas Mitcham; son Jeff Mitcham (Tammy), daughter Kimberly Humphrey (Randy); grandchildren K’ land, Raegan, Connor, and Avery.
Her father
Hanan Cossey preceded her in death. Jana lived an unselfish life in which others always came first. She was a child and servant of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The lives she has touched are far too many to list.

p.m., Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at Klein Funeral Home Chapel, CyFair Northwest on Wortham Blvd., 832-678-3900.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 19, 2011 at the Houston National Cemetery.
