Funeral services for Shai Lane McNeal Boone will be at 2 p.m., Friday, May
13, 2011 in the Christian Worship Center in Alexandria with Chad Boone officiating. Arrangements will be under the guidance of White Oaks, Alexandria.
Shai, 17, of Pineville, entered eternal rest on Monday, May 9, 2011 in Rapides Regional
Medical Center. She was born on January 22, 1994 in Alexandria. She was junior of Pineville High School and a cashier at Moward’s Restaurant in Pineville.
Her paternal grandfather, Sonny Boone and maternal grandfather, Creighton Bryant
precede her in death.
She leaves behind her loving family to cherish her memory, mother, Tonya Lane McNeal of Pineville; father, Micah “Boomer” Boone of Leesville; one sister, Haliegh Boone of Dequicy; maternal grandparents, Lane Bodie and
Ronnie Bodie, both of Jena; maternal grandmother, Sandra Bryant of Pineville; paternal grandmother, Pam Smith of Alexandria; three aunts, Kimberly Dessell, Amy Boone and Cathe Broussard; four uncles, Tony McNeal, Chad Boone, Andy Boone and Brian
Broussard; and a host of cousins and friends.
Pallbearers to serve will be Tony McNeal, Tony Webb, Eric Boylen, Gage Webb, Brian Broussard and Josh Broussard. Honorary pallbearer’s to serve will be the classmates of Pineville High
School.
Visitation will be observed Thursday, May 12, 2011 from 6 p.m. until shortly before Noon on Friday, May 13, 2011 at the Chapel of White Oaks, Alexandria. Friends may call at the church on Friday, May 13, 2011 from noon until time
of service.
