Home going services for Mrs. Vivian Owens Gilcrease will be held on Monday, May 2, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. at the First United Pentecostal Church of Leesville with Rev. M.C. Green, Rev. John Burns and Rev. Mark Christian officiating. Burial
will follow in the Walnut Hill Cemetery with Rev. Dale Mortenson officiating under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.

Visitation will start on Sunday, May 1, 2011 at 6:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M.in the Chapel
of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville and then from 10:00 A.M. till service time at the First United Pentecostal Church of Leesville.

Mrs. Gilcrease was born on July 26, 1924 to Almon and Ida Bolton Owens in Slagle, LA
and went to her heavenly home Saturday, May 1, 2011 in Leesville. She was a life resident of the Leesville/Slagle area and on April 24, 1942 married Huey P. Gilcrease and was a faithful and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Serving the Lord at
First United Pentecostal Church for over 65 yrs was her passion.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Almon and Ida Owens, Sisters, Verda Walker and Geraldine Mann, Brother, Freddie Joe Owens and Grandson, Kristen Lynn
Martinez.

She leaves behind her husband of 69 yrs. Huey P Gilcrease of Leesville, LA.

Sons: William” Bill” Gilcrease and wife Debbie of Leesville, LA; Danny Gilcrease of Leesville, LA.

Daughter: Janell Martinez and husband Donald of Grand Prairie, TX.

Brothers: Glen and Pete Owens of Slagle, LA. and Ronnie Owens of Alexandria, LA.

Sisters: Shirley Bollinger of Alexandria, LA. and
Polly Owens of Leesville.

Six Grandchildren; Thirteen Great Grandchildren and Two Great Great Grandchildren.
