Leah Elizabeth Hillman

Leah Elizabeth Sidney Hillman, 91, of Lake Charles died Thursday, April 21, 2011 in the comfort of her home.
Mrs. Hillman was born, raised and lived her younger years in New Orleans and North Louisiana. She had lived the past
twenty five years in Lake Charles. Mrs. Hillman was a true woman of her generation, devoting her life and her love to her family. She followed her husband, Rev. Thomas Hillman to many Baptist churches throughout the state of Louisiana.
She
was a devoted mother and grandmother, leaving to cherish her memory, three sons, Tom Hillman and wife Denise of Longview, Texas, David Hillman and wife Phyllis of Grayson and Matthew Hillman and wife Karen of Lake Charles; 15 grandchildren; 14 great
grandchildren; and one sister, Mary Alice Prestia of New Orleans.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Thomas Hillman and grandson, Joshua Hillman.

Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Monday, April 25,
2011 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Don Johnson will officiate. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. until the time of service Monday in the funeral home. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2011 in Antioch Cemetery in
Slagle.
