Lee Lee Summerell

Lee Lee Summerell, 31, of Natchitoches, passed away on April 17, 2011, in
New Orleans, following a sudden illness.
Lee Lee was born on September 11, 1979, in Natchez, Miss. She passed away peacefully at Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans. Lee Lee was a 1997 graduate of Hornbeck High School and a 2006 graduate of
Northwestern State University with a B.S. in Nursing. She was employed by Cane River Surgery Center as a registered nurse.
Lee Lee enjoyed running, spending time with friends and was an avid supporter of the Natchitoches Humane Animal
Shelter. She was also an active member of the Service League of Natchitoches.
Lee Lee is survived by her mother, Judy Bruce Summerell of Hornbeck; twin sister, Katie Summerell of Dallas, Texas; brother, Corey Summerell and wife Tonjia of
Livingston; grandmother, Lucille Bruce Walker of Dallas, Texas; stepmother, Kenniann Summerell of Little Rock, Ark. and her special love, Denton.
Lee Lee is preceded in death by her father, Donald Summerell.
Services will be
held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2011, at the Hornbeck High School Gym in Hornbeck, with a reception immediately following at Hornbeck First Baptist Church. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at Hornbeck First Baptist Church.
Labby Memorial Funeral Home will be handling arrangements.
