Funeral services for Joy Gibson, 85, of Leesville, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2011. at South Park Baptist Church in Leesville with Bro. Collins and Bro. Comeaux officiating.
Interment will be held at Smart
Chapel Cemetery in Leesville. Visitation will be held today, Tuesday, April 19, 2011, from 4-9 p.m. at South Park Baptist Church in Leesville, and will resume at 9 a.m. until time of service Wednesday, April 19, at the church. Services are under the
direction of Myers Colonial Funeral Home of DeRidder.
Mrs. Gibson died Sunday, April 17, 2011, at Byrd Regional Hospital.
She is survived by her sons, Glen Oscar Jackson of DeRidder and Kevin Leon Gibson or Bossier City;
daughters, Patricia Ann Stamp of DeRidder and Scharlott Chiasson of New Orleans; brothers, Huey White of Longville and Jessie White of DeRidder; one sister, Wanda Goins of Knight; 18 grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren.
