Graveside services for Emilia Rosas Leon Guerrero, 71, of Leesville, will
be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2011, at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Leesville with Father Clemente Mauricio officiating.
Emilia, the daughter of Ignacio and Anita Aguilar Rosas, was born on March 10, 1940, in Houston, Texas. She passed
away on Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville.
Mrs. Leon Guerrero was a homemaker and member of St. Michael Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She
is survived by her husband of 44 years, Jesus Leon Guerrero of Leesville; children, Elizabeth VanAntwerp of West Monroe, N.Y., Benita Skidmore and husband Jeff of New Llano, Jesse Leon Guerrero and wife Karen of Rosepine, Sonia M. Davalos and husband
Joseph of San Antonio, Texas and Lorraine Leon Guerrero of Sunshine; sister, Naomi Nieto of Houston; sister-n-law, Susanna Rosas of Houston; grandchildren, Brett VanAntwerp and wife Tara, Mathew VanAntwerp, Jessica Skidmore, Dereck Skidmore, Taylor
Nessmith, Kylie Nessmith, Brittany Leon Guerrero, Alex Davalos, Hunter Davalos, Aidan Davalos and Mya Johnson and one great-grandchild, Collin VanAntwerp.
