Funeral services for Geraldine Miller Windham, 78, of Anacoco, will be held
at 10 a.m. Friday, March 11, 2011, at the First United Pentecostal Church in Anacoco with Bro. C. W. Dowden and E. L. Thornton officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. at the Belah Cemetery in Jena under the direction of Labby Memorial
Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 5-10 p.m., Thursday, March 10, 2011, at the church.
Geraldine, the daughter of James Elbert and Agatha Haymon Thornton was born on September 15, 1932, in Provencal. She
passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at Rapides Regional Hospital in Alexandria.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, R.D. Miller and Cecil Windham.
She is survived by her son, Ricky Miller and wife Sharon of Anacoco;
daughter, Pamela Kirkland of Little Rock, Ark.; brothers, Rev. E. L. Thornton, Rev. C.D. Thornton and Rev. Don Thornton; sister, Eulavay Donaho; nine grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
