Harold Haymon Sr.

Harold Haymon Sr., 78, of Orange, Texas, passed away on Friday, February
11, 2011 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.
He was a native of Leesville. He had lived in Orange, Texas for 52 years and retired from BF Goodrich as an operator after 40 years of employment. He served his country in the Army during the Korean
Conflict. He was a member of Echo Baptist Church in Orange, Texas.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Shirley Jean (Turner) Haymon of Orange, Texas; sons, Stephen Nester and wife Susan of New Mexico, Harold Haymon Jr. and wife Kim of
Dallas, Texas and Ronnie Haymon and wife Samantha of Orange, Texas; sisters, Ruby Thornton of Deridder, Faye Littleton, of Pickering, Idell Hunter, of Anacoco and Adell Wellbanks, of Hicks; brother, Hubert Haymon of Lafayette; and five grandchildren.
He is also survived by a very large extended family.
Visitation was Monday, February 14, 2011 at Dorman Funeral Home in Orange, Texas. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial followed
at Autumn Oaks Memorial Park in Orange.
Serving as pallbearers were Deven Jarrell, Dan Akerson, Broc Haymon, Roman Haymon, Chad Shay and David Shay Jr.
