Eola Spears

Funeral services for Eola “Dinah” Spears, 86, of Hornbeck, will be held at
11 a.m. Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville with the Rev. Donald Spears officiating. Burial will follow in the Prewitt’s Chapel Cemetery in Hornbeck, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of
Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of service Thursday, February 17, 2011 at the funeral home.
Eola, the daughter of Horace Sigler and Anna Belle Mayo, was born on August 23, 1924, in Oakdale. She passed
away on Monday, February 14, 2011 at the Woodlands Health Care Center in Leesville. She enjoyed crocheting and working in her flower beds. She was a homemaker and was active in the areas local homemakers’ clubs. She was a member and Sunday school
teacher at Hornbeck Bible Baptist Church; she also worked in the Get Well Card Ministries at the church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Sharon Warner.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Pinkney
Spears of Hornbeck; son, Donald and Connie Spears of Hornbeck; son-in-law, Richard Warner, II of Mart, Texas; brothers, Bruce Sigler, Dexter Sigler, Roy Sigler and Malcolm Sigler; sisters, Janice Reeks and Marlene Mayo; four grandchildren, Debet and
Chuck LeBlanc, Donnie and Belinda Spears, Richard Warner, III and Michael Warner; and six great grandchildren, Justin, Brooke, Chelsie, Matthew, Logan and Daniel.
