Funeral services for Jimmie Ray Stott will be held on Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011 in the Chapel of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville with Rev. Dale Mortenson officiating. Burial will follow in the Laurel Hill Cemetery near LaCamp under the
direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Wed, Feb. 2, 2011 and from 8 a.m. until services in the funeral home on Thursday.
Mr. Stott 71, of Willis, Texas passed away on Saturday, January
29, 2011 at his residence. He was a native of Olla, but grew up in the Vernon Parish area. He was a retired carpenter and loved to hunt and fish.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Audie and Isidor Hall Stott; brothers, Denton Stott
and C.L. Stott; sister, Ann Haper; and son, Kenneth “Shorty” Stott.
Survivors are his wife, Sue Stott of Willis, Texas; daughter, Susan Snoe of Willis, Texas; sons, Jimmie Ray Stott Jr. and Chase Stott of Willis, Texas; stepchildren, Lisa
Jerek, Les Woodley, James Woodley, Wendy Creamer and Ashley Bergeron; brother, Lem Stott; sisters, Judy James and Audra Martin all of Midway, Texas; nine grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren.
