Mrs. Pamela Jean Schlomer Greer, 57, of Lenoir, N.C., passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C. Pam was born on August 10, 1953 in Leesville and was the daughter of the late Clarence and Laura
McElveen Schlomer.
Pam was a member of Tabernacle Advent Christian Church. She was a former member of the Lenoir Toastmasters Club and a member of the Caldwell Fife and Drum Corps. Pam worked for many years in Caldwell County School
System.
Other than her parents, Pam is preceded in death by her daughter Laura Elizabeth Greer Williams; her granddaughter Morgan Williams and a brother-in-law, Mike Lenz.
Pam is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” Elton
Greer, Jr. of Lenoir, N.C.; her in-laws, Robert Elton Greer, Sr. and Shirley Greer of Lenoir, N.C.; her son-in-law, Jeff Williams of Lenoir, N.C.; one brother Edward Schlomer and his wife Cheryl of Opelousas; one sister, Phyllis Lenz of Leesville;
and two grandchildren, Robert Williams and Laura Ann Williams, both of Lenoir, N.C.
A memorial and celebration of Pam’s life will be held at 1p.m. Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Cooper Baptist Church, 853 Cooper Church Road, Leesville, with
Reverend Edgar Evans officiating.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, January 16, 2011 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Services with Reverend Frank Hall and Reverend Jim Lee officiating. Burial followed the services at Tabernacle Advent
Christian Church Cemetery in Lenoir, N.C.
