Jerry Lynn Fletcher, Sr., 68, of DeRidder, passed away Saturday, Jan. 22 at St. Patrick’s Hospital in Lake Charles.
Visitation was from 5-9 p.m. Monday, Jan. 24 at Grace Church and again from 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday,
Jan. 25.
The funeral was at 2 p.m. at Grace Church with Rev. George L. Glass, Jr. officiating. Interment was at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Fletcher served two years in the Louisiana National Guard; 10 years at Standard
Mercantile, Co.; 10 years at Scogin Auto Parts; 10 years as an insurance agent; and 10 years at Green Chevrolet.
He is survived by one son, Jerry A. Hawks, of Ruston; one sister, Oletha and husband Bill Gates, of DeRidder; one niece,
Sheryl and husband Sam Trogdan, of Pflugerville, Texas; two nephews, Theron and wife Sherry Pfantz, of DeRidder and Bobby and wife Shelia Pfantz, of Zachary.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lonnie and Ola B. Fletcher and his
nephew Raymond Pfantz.
