Graveside services for Effie Matthews McKee will be held on Tuesday,
January 18, 2011 at the Kisatchie Cemetery in Kisatchie with Jerry L. Jeane officiating with burial to follow under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the funeral home.
Mrs. McKee 81, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2011 in Marshall, Texas. She was born and raised in the Kisatchie Community and married Ragan McKee and lived in the Fullerton and Leesville community for many years. She was a member of First
Baptist Church of Pitkin and was a volunteer for the Vernon Parish Meal on Wheels program. She was preceded in death by her parents Lud and Lena Matthews and husband Ragan McKee.Survivors are two brothers and sisters-in-law: Roy and Ellen Matthews
