Funeral services for Carl M. Westfall, 68, of Anacoco, will be held at 11
a.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Anacoco First Baptist Church in Anacoco with the Rev. Durhl R. Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Mitchell Cemetery in Anacoco under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday, January 11, 2011 and on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 from 8 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
Carl, the son of Carl Oliver and Ola Opal Emmerdell Felder Westfall
was born on May 16, 1942, in Pampa, Texas. He passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at his residence in Anacoco. Mr. Westfall served four years in the United States Marine Corps and served 15 and a half years with the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s
Department. He was a member of Anacoco First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Jane Westfall of Anacoco; daughters, Carla Brock of Midland, Texas and Carlene Mitchem of Big Spring, Texas; brother, Lewis Westfall of
Leesville; five granddaughters; one great granddaughter and two great grandsons.
