Funeral services for Ella Wood, 87, of Leesville, will be held at 2 p.m.
Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville. Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 in the Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Tampa, Fla. under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday, Jan. 7, 2011 at the funeral home.
Ella, the daughter of Hollis and Daisy Robinson Scott was born on September 22, 1923, in Pascagoula, Miss. She passed away on Tuesday, January 4,
2011 at Rapides Medical Center in Alexandria. Mrs. Wood was a member of Cooper Baptist Church and a member of the Eastern Star of Leesville. She was a resident of the Woodlands Health Care Center.
She is survived by her sons, Michael Wood
and wife Patricia of Milwaukee, Wis., William (Bill) Wood and fiancée Daryln of Leesville and John Wood and wife Lucille of Leesville; daughters, Kathryn (Mama Kay) Scott and husband A.L. (Buddy) of Leesville and Frances Franconi and husband Carl of
Valrico, Fla.; eight grandchildren, Sherry Goodwin, Waylon (Sonny) Wood, Amanda Leblanc, Patrick Wood, Stephanie Wood, April Monaco, Ronnie Marshal and Carl Jr.; 15 great grandchildren, Chris and Craig Scott, Crystal Bowers, Abby, Ashton, Addy
Leblanc, Waylon and Alanina Wood, Briceton and McKenzie Marshal, Brittani and Brandon Wood, Heather, Raven and Josie; and one great great grandchild, Rylan Scott.
