Funeral services for Roy T. Hallman will be held on Tuesday, November 30,
2010 at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville with the Revs. E.J. Bradshaw, Scott Burns and Mike Rhame officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery Leesville under direction of Hixson Leesville.
Visitation will
be Monday, November 29, 2010 at 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Hixson and from 8 a.m. until service time on Tuesday.

Mr. Hallman, 86, was a native of North Carolina but had lived most of his life in the Leesville area. He was a WWII
Veteran having served in North Africa. During his training at Ft. Polk he met his wife of 68 years while ordering a soda pop at Phoenix Drug store in Leesville. He worked for 35 years as a carpenter at Fort Polk and was a long time member of Calvary
Baptist Church of Leesville.

Preceded him in death were his parents Smith Hallman and Fannie Lindsey Hallman and son, Kenneth Hallman.

Survivors are his wife, Cordy Hallman of Leesville; one daughter,
Nina Boyd of Leesville; grandchildren, Joe “Dinky” Boyd and wife Cathy, Kenneth and Henry Hallman; great grandchildren, Michael and Sara Boyd and 3 other great grandchildren; daughter by heart, Sue Hext and husband Jr. of Leesville.

Pallbearers will be Jason and Toby Jeane, Jim Ed Williams, Jr. Hext, Scott Burns and Mark Bloodworth. Honorary will be Michael Boyd and Leon Deville. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfh.com.
