Services for Kathleen Brumley Hamlin will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville with Rev. Robert Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Mitchell Cemetery in Anacoco under
the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be on Friday, November 19, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
Kathleen 68, was a born in Flora, Ill. but grew up in the Pickering area where she attended
Pickering High School. She was a homemaker and a member of Moffett Rd. Baptist Church in Mobile Ala. and was a creative and artistic person who loved to create things of beauty.
Preceding her in death was her husband; her father; A. B.
Brumley; two brothers; four grandchildren; Corey, Sarah, Haley and Travis Velazquez all of Beaverton, Ore; and her mother; Jewel Goins Brumley of Leesville.
She is survived by: daughter; Anna Marie Velazquez of Beaverton, Ore.; two
brothers: James E. Brumley of Haughton; and Kenneth R. Brumley and wife Betty of Keithville; one sister; Sharon Brumley Jean and husband Don of Leesville; two sisters-in-law: Doris Wilson Brumley; and Saundra Wilson Brumley.
