Funeral services for Mrs. Sue A. Toney, 69, of Leesville, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2010 in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville, with Rev’s. Jimmy Toney, Ricky Wead Sr., Mark Christian, John Burns and
David Tipton officiating. Burial will follow in the Castor Cemetery in Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Monday, October 11, 2010 at the funeral home.
Sue, a lifetime resident of Vernon Parish, passed
away on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital in Lake Charles. She was a baker at the Leesville Walmart and was retired from the Vernon Parish School System where she worked in the cafeteria.
She was preceded in
death by her husband Robert Toney Sr.
Mrs. Toney is survived by: her children, Robert Jr. and Shelly Toney, of Houston, Texas, David and Carolyn Toney of Leesville, Floyd Toney of Leesville, Jimmy and Renee Toney of Richmond, Ind. Susan
and Robert Atkinson of DeRidder, and Faye and Ricky Wead, Sr. of Leesville; two sisters Maggie Hickman and Mary Lou Gosnell both of Leesville; grandchildren Lisa Toney, Rebekah and Robert Harrah, Victoria Toney, Kayla and Joe Rodriguez, Marisa and
Josh Lambert, David (T.J.) and Sarah Toney, Dewayne Atkinson, Keith and Tessa Atkinson, Ricky Jr., and Brittany Wead, Galen and Melissa Wead, Eric Wead, Caitlyn Toney; great grandchildren, Bobby and Araya Harrah, Ryah Lambert, Kenna Lambert, Darrick
Wead; a very special niece and her family, Pam and Anthony Boswell, Katie and Mark.
