KellyAnn (Mahon) Connolly, 27, of Cranford died on Sept. 22, 2010, in
Beauregard Parish.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010, at Gray Memorial Funeral Home, 12 Springfield Ave., Cranford, N. J. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept.
29, 2010, in St. Anne Catholic Church, 325 Second Ave., Garwood, N. J. Interment is private.
Born in Secaucus, N.J., and raised in Jersey City, N.J., and Cranford, N.J., Kelly had recently moved to Louisiana, where her husband, Pfc. James
E. Connolly, is stationed at Fort Polk Army Base. Kelly graduated from Cranford High School in 2001 and earned both a B.S., magna cum laude, and a M.S., summa cum laude, from NYU. She was a special education teacher who had taught at schools around
the country. Always fearless, she enjoyed adventure sports and traveling with her family. Kelly is survived by her husband, James; her parents, Edward F. and AnnMarie Mahon of Cranford, and her sister and brother-in-law, Jessica and David Scoles of
Los Angeles, Calif. Also surviving are her mother and father-in-law, Patty and Michael Connolly of Haskell, N.J.; brother-in-law, Mike; numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins, and her two rescued dogs, Bones and Snitch. Donations in KellyAnn’s
