Josefina Punzalan Cruz was born in Hagatña, Guam on April 10, 1940.
A resident of Leesville, 20 years, she passed away at Byrd Regional Hospital on September 16, 2010.
She is predeceased by her husband Jesus Cruz; son Marcus Cruz; parents, Bernardo and Antonia Anderson Punzalan; brothers, Antonio,
Jose and Eustaquio Punzalan and sisters, Nieves, Emilia and Victoria.
Her kindness and generosity will live in the hearts of sisters, Lourdes Flores and Felicita Siana; her grandson Ryan Cruz; “adopted sister,” Lucy Blas and numerous
nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m.-9 p.m., Sunday, September 26, 2010 at the funeral home, with a rosary being recited at 6 p.m.
Funeral services for Josefina Punzalan Cruz,
70, of Leesville, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, September 27, 2010 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Leesville with the Father Kenneth Michiels officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Leesville, under the
direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
