Theda Turner Thacker, 69, of Wiergate, Texas, passed away Sept. 21, 2008 at Jasper Memorial Hospital. Private services will be held at a later date.
A native and longtime resident of Leesville, she worked as a waitress at
Rosie’s Cafe in Anacoco. After retireing , she lived with family in Livingston, Texas, and Wiergate, Texas.
She is survived by daughters Virginia Welss of Wiegate, Texas, Sandra Miller of Citrus Springs, Fla. and Gayla Hinckle of
Livingston, Texas. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Vanessa, Chris, Kaleb, and Alli and a great grand dog Caramel, a.k.a. “Hoover.”
