Bettye Tom Tovery-Grames, 69, passed away at her home in Sparta, Tenn. on September 19, 2010. Bettye Tom graduated from Anacoco High School and had a Bachelor’s degree in Education from McNeese State University and a Masters degree from
Sanford University. She was an educator and a business woman, but most of all a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Helen Tovery of Anacoco. She is survived by her husband, Harry Edward Grames; son,
Patrick Tovery, wife Kerry Levinski Tovery, of Dallas, Texas, children, Matthew, Dylan and Cassie; daughter, Marti Tovery Lindsey, husband Darrell Lindsey of Nashville, Tenn., children Courtney, Jordan, Jacob and Logan. Bettye Tom will be laid to
rest at Mitchell Cemetery in Anacoco on Saturday September 25 at 3:00 pm.
