Jennifer M. Young, 27, of El Paso, Ill. passed away at 2:52 a.m. on
Saturday, August 21, 2010 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloominton, Ill.
She was born on February 14, 1983 in Bloomington, Ill. a daughter of Steven and Teresa Krostag Young.
Survivors include her father, Steve (Stacey)
Young of El Paso, Ill.; her mother, Teresa Menefee of Monroe; stepfather, Gary Menefee of Monroe; one son, Tyler Pousson; one daughter, Teigan Heibenthal; her boyfriend Brandon Heibenthal all of El Paso, Ill.; two sisters, Laura Young of South Bend,
Ind.; Ashley Young of El Paso, Ill.; five brothers, Sean, Chris and Brandon Menefee of Monroe; Matthew and Austin Young of El Paso, Ill.; maternal grandmother, Peggy Krostag of SunCity, Fla.; paternal grandmother, Betty Haun of Rochester, Ind.;
maternal grandparents, Rick and Mary Ann Janssen of Benson, Ill.; maternal grandfather, Stan Barker of Memphis, Mo.; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandfathers and her
fiancee, Timothy Pousson.
Jennifer attended El Paso Grade School and high school and was a graduate of Pickering High School in Leesville. She worked as a CNA for Passage Hospice in Bloomington. She had a great love for basketball.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in El Paso where funeral services will be held at 11a.m. on Thursday, August 26, 2010. Rev. Dr. Tim Smith will officiate. Visitation will be on Wednesday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Ruestman-Harris
Funeral Home in El Paso and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Tyler and Teigan Memorial Fund at Heartland Bank.
