Funeral services for Curtis Strickland, 53, of Evans, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 22, 2010 at Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville. Rev. Morris Goins will officiate. Services are under the direction of Labby Memorial
Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, August 21and Sunday, August 22 from 9 a.m. until time of service in the funeral home.
Curtis, the son of Parnell Curtis Strickland Sr., and
Dorothy Crosby, was born on September 22, 1956, in Jesup, Ga. He passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2010, in Evans. He enjoyed the outdoors and dirt track car racing.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Elizabeth “Liz” Strickland of
Evans; mother, Dorothy Daniels (husband, Thomas) of Hinesville, Ga.; children, Angela Strickland Bacon (husband, Beau) of Leesville, Victoria Lafleur (husband, Jake) of Ville Platte, John Prochacza, Johana Hubbart (husband, Ray) and James Jerrell all
of Manitowoc, Wis.; sisters, Sharon Beardon (husband, Ken) of Hinesville, Ga., Janet Frederick of Opa Locka, Ala. and Brenda and 11 grandchildren.
