Funeral services for Mr. Rodney James Thompson will be at 2 p.m. on
Saturday, August 14, 2010 in Occupy #2 Baptist Church, Pitkin with Reverends Mike Evans and Pat Austin officiating. Interment will follow in Occupy #2 Cemetery under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pitkin.

Mr. Thompson,
35, of Pitkin, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 12, 2010 in Pitkin.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lavonia Thompson; paternal grandfather, James Thompson; maternal grandmother, Mertie Carpenter and
one uncle, Bruce Thompson.

Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory are one daughter, Kelsey Elaine Thompson of Pitkin; his father and step-mother, Rocky and Teddy Thompson of Pitkin; one brother, Dusty Thompson and
his wife, Shirley of Woodville, Texas; one sister, Rhonda Thompson of Pitkin; his paternal grandmother, Elaine Thompson of Pitkin and five nephews, Joel Thompson, Ethan Stokes, Noah Thompson, Owen Stokes and Gabriel Thompson.

Friends may call at Occupy # 2 Baptist Church, Pitkin on Friday, August 13, 2010 from 3 p.m. until time of service on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 2 p.m.
