Funeral services for Mrs. Ina V. Stott will be held Saturday, August 14,
2010 in the Chapel of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville with Revs. Terry Ward, Dale Mortenson and J.B. Yielding officiating. Burial will follow in the Laurel Hill Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation
will begin on Friday, August 13, 2010 at 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the funeral home and Saturday 8 a.m. until the service time.
Mrs. Stott, 67, was a life resident of the Leesville/Slagle area. She had worked as a childcare provider at the
First Baptist Church daycare for many years and was co-owner with her husband of Stott Plumbing. She was a member of the Vernon Parish Foster Parents organization, had been foster mother to 66 children over the years and was a member of Antioch
Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Denton L. Stott and parents Barney and Jesse Cobb Williams.
Survivors are daughters, Susan Brewer and husband Mark , Connie Doucet and husband Shannon and Tonya McWilliams
all of Slagle; son, Buddy and wife Marlene Stott of Crestview, Fla.; sisters, Maudine Johnson and husband Howard of Conroe, Texas and Betty Jo Behringer of Galeveston, Texas; 66 foster children; 9 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
