Funeral services for Frances Bassett, 82, of Anacoco, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 31, 2010, at Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville with Bro. Edgar Evans and Bro. Danny Slaydon officiating.
Burial will
follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Hornbeck under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m., Friday, July 30, 2010, and Saturday, July 31
from 9 a.m. until time of
service in funeral home.
Frances, the daughter of John Calvin and Elizabeth Jane Allen Cluney, was born on June 9, 1928, in Leesville. She passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2010, in DeRidder.
She was preceded in death by her
husband, William Edward Bassett and son, William Bassett.
She is survived by her sons, Merle and wife Gwen Bassett of Leesville, Michael Bassett of Anacoco, and Randy and wife Debbie Bassett of Anacoco; daughters, Linda and husband Sonney
Nowell of Waxahachie, Texas and Barbara and husband James McLaughlin of Quartz Hill, Calif.; brothers, Leo Liles of Anacoco, Dewey Liles of Rosepine and Ronald Liles of Jena; sisters, Sudie Rhodes of Leesville, and Mary Williams of Houston; 15
grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
