Gussie Lee Arnold Davis, 98, passed from this life on Monday, August 2,
2010 at Leesville.

Her funeral service will be held on Friday, August 6, 2010, 10 a.m. at Flactor Baptist Church of Hicks. Ministers will be Revs. B.G. Dyess and Jerry Jeane. Burial will be at Flactor Cemetery, under the
direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville, a dignity memorial provider. Visitation will begin on Thursday, August 5, 2010 at 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Flactor Baptist Church of Leesville.

Gussie is survived by two sons, Harold
Davis and wife Shirley of Leesville, Artice Davis and wife Lalah of Oregon; two daughters, Eloise Neilson and husband Pete of California, Joann Priest and husband John of Georgia; 12 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Davis; her mother and father, Monroe Arnold and Nancy Haymon Arnold and one granddaughter.

Gussie was a life long resident of Vernon Parish
where she worked at the Fort Polk exchange and the Leesville Food Stamp office. She was a member of Flactor Baptist Church for many years and a former Eastern Star member of Pitkin. Gussie will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Words of
