Funeral services for J.D. Norris, 87, of Hutton, will be held Saturday,
July 3, 2010 at 1 p.m. at First Assembly of God in Simpson, with Rev. Lorraine Smith and Rev. Tommy Kimbrell officiating. The burial will follow in the Comrade Cemetery in Hutton. Visitation will be Friday, July 2, 2010, from 11 a.m. until time of
service Saturday at the church. Services are under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville.
J.D., the son of George W. and Dorcas Henry Norris was born on May 17, 1923, in Hutton. He passed away on Monday, June 28,
2010 at Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville. He was preceded in death by his wife Norma Norris.
He is survived by his sons, Bruce Norris and wife Paula of Montgomery, Texas, Dan Norris and wife Gail of Corpus Christi, Texas and John
Norris and wife Shelley of Cairo, Egypt; daughters, Donna Hillman and husband Travis of Simpson, Jan Wilkerson and husband Gary of Simpson and Theresia Martin husband Darnell of Anacoco; 17 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and two great great
grandchildren.
