Funeral services for Rev. Donald Ray “Bro. Don” Hunt will be at 10 a.m.,
Tuesday, June 15, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in DeRidder with Rev. Alan Knuckles, Rev. Rod Martin. Rev. Charles Best, and Rev. Beau Collie officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery in Providence Community, under the direction of
Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder. Rev. Hunt passed away Friday, June 11, in his residence in DeRidder. Visitation will be held in Pleasant hill Baptist Church in DeRidder from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., Monday, June 14, and Tuesday, June 15, from 8
a.m. until time of the service.

Rev. hunt was born in Leesville, to Everette Douglas and Georgie Mae White Hunt. He was a graduate of Leesville High School and Louisiana College in Pineville. While at Louisiana College, he was
a member of the Godbold Evangelistic Team. He also attended New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Bro. Don was a member of pleasant Hill Baptist Church and served as the Director of Missions for Beauregard Baptist Association. He pastored many
churches during his forty-six years of ministry to include Dry Creek Baptist Church, Dry Creek, Trinity Baptist Church in Pineville, Pine Grove Baptist Church in Ruby, Clinton Road Baptist Church in New Hartford, First Baptist Church of Chataigner,
Chataigner, Liberty Hill Baptist Church, Bienville, and Occupy #2 Baptist Church in Pitkin. He served on the Board of Trustees at Dry Creek Baptist Encampment in Dry Creek, the Executive Board of Trustees of the Louisiana Baptist Convention and the
Executive Board of the New york Baptist Convention.

He is survived by his wife of forty-four years, Doris Virginia William hunt of DeRidder; four daughters, Jennifer Guillory and husband Shane of DeRidder, Kimberly McNeal and
husband Ray of Pineville, April Banks and husband Frank of Effie, and Kathryn Doyle and husband Freddie of Dry Creek; seven grandsons, Caleb Guillory and wife Chasity, Cyle :T-Don” Guillory, Cole Guillory, Christopher McNeal, Eric McNeal, Joseph
Banks and Cameron Doyle; four granddaughters, Cayla Guillory, Briana Banks, Ann Banks and Allson “Ally” Doyle, six brothers, Doug Hunt and wife Pat, Johnny Hunt and wife Patsy, Ed Hunt and wife Linda, Rev. Roger Hunt and wife Francis, Marlin Hunt and
David Hunt and wife Yvonne; two sisters, Margie Gilbert and Mary Logsdon and husband Mark. He was preceded in death by parents and brothers Archie, Troy and Edward Hunt. The family requests that donations be made to Missions in care of Pleasant hill
