Funeral services for Glenn Edward Hicks, 60, of Leesville, will be Friday at 2 p.m., June 11, at the Ebenezer Chapel with Rev. Scott Burns officiating. The burial will follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery in Hicks. Services are under the
direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Glenn was born on March 17, 1950 the son of Cecil and Martha Smith Hicks in Vernon Parish. He passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2010, at Rapides General Hospital in Alexandria.
Glenn was an avid hunter and fisherman in Vernon Parish. He worked as a Mechanic and volunteered at the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office. He served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam veteran and was a member of the American Legion for the past 18
years.
He is survived by his sons, Ben Hicks of New Llano, Barney Willis of Leesville and Richard Willis of Leesville; mother, Martha Hicks of Leesville; brother James Allen Hicks of Leesville; sister, Laverene Pace of Minden; and seven
grandchildren.
Memorial donations can be made to the Hicks Family Memorial Fund. Friends may call from Thursday, June 10 from 12 noon until service time Friday in the Ebenezer Chapel in Hicks.
