KENNETH “CHARLIE” HARVILLE

Kenneth “Charlie” Harville, 67, passed from this life on May 13, 2010 at
Alexandria.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 16, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Flactor Baptist Church with the Revs. Huey Haymon and E. J. Bradshaw officiating. Burial will be at Flactor Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral
Home of Leesville, a dignity memorial provider. Visitation will begin on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 4 p.m. at Flactor Baptist Church of Hicks and continue all day Sunday until the service at 2 p.m.
Survivors include his loving wife of
37 years, Maxine Myers Harville of Hicks; sons, Michael Harville of Hicks, Kenneth “Bubba” Harville of Slaughter and Cecil Morris of Leesville; brothers, David Strickland and wife Shirley of Leesville and Walter Leslie “Pete” Harville and wife Sally
of Pasadena, Texas; sister, Janie Chandler and husband of Amos, Jr. of Hicks; two grandsons, Tristan and Landon Harville and a host of nieces and nephews.
“Charlie” was preceded in death by his parents, William “Dewey” Stickland and
Louella Warwick Harville and brother, Joe Harville.
He was a life resident of the Hicks area and was a 1959 graduate of Hicks High School. “Charlie” proudly served in the United States Marine Corps were he served in the Philippines and
later worked for Dresser Industries in Pineville until his retirement. He was a deacon and the Music Director of Flactor Baptist Church of Hicks and a member of the N.H. Bray Lodge and Shiners.
