J. C. Haymon, 66, passed from this life on May 10, 2010 in Leesville.
His funeral service
will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church of Leesville with the Reverends Morris Dale Goins, Dale Poe, Huey Haymon and Luther Despineo officiating. Burial will be held at Mt. Bethel Cemetery in Leesville under
the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville, a dignity memorial provider. Visitation will begin on Monday, May 10, 2010 at 6 p.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday at 10 a.m.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Ann
Toney Haymon of Leesville; one daughter, Carla Lawrence and husband Anthony of Leesville; mother, Odessa Haymon of Leesville; mother in-law, Bea Toney of Leesville; three brothers, Melvin Haymon and wife Barbara of Leesville, J. E. Haymon and wife
Evelyn of Anacoco and Elvin Haymon and wife Nancy of Anacoco; three sisters, Doris Dowden and husband Reid of Leesville, Merlene Monk and husband JP of Leesville and Jeanette Jackson and husband Coy Dell of Anacoco; one brother-in-law, James Dalme
and wife Mary of Leesville and two very special caregivers, Melissa Oikle and Christy Munley.
J. C. was a life resident of Leesville. He graduated from Leesville High School in 1962 and he is a member of Silver Creek Baptist Church. He
was a retired School Bus Driver #24 and a retired carpenter having built homes throughout Vernon Parish. He raised horses, loved to hunt and was a member of Cold Springs Hunting Club.
