Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Fletcher Toney were held Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Funeral Home with Rev John Kautz officiating. Burial followed in the Oak Forest Cemetery Leesville under the direction of
Hixson of Leesville.Visitation began at 10 a.m. and continued until service time in the funeral home.
Mrs. Toney, 83, was a life resident of the Leesville and Rosepine area. She was a homemaker but had worked at the Ft. Polk Laundry,
was a former driver for the Vernon Council on Aging and worked for the V.P. Police Jury.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Vice Wilcox Fletcher.
Survivors are her five children: son: Aubrey Lee Willis of
Leesville; daughters: Ruby Lee Hutson and Judy Ann Tiffany of Anacoco, Ramona Hallman of Vidor, Texas and Margaret Elaine Barton of Pickering; six grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
