Funeral services for Glenn D. Addison will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the Burr Ferry United Pentecostal Church with Revs. James Harrington and Rev. Ricky Egan officiating.
Burial will follow in the
Beech Grove Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will begin on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at 5 p.m. until service time at the church.
Mr. Addison, a lifelong resident of Vernon
Parish, was a retired woodsman and loved working and being in the woods. He was a United States veteran having served in the U.S. Army and was a life member of the VFW #8557.
Mr. Addison was preceded in death by several members of his
family including his parents Erwin and Nancy Tilley Addison.
Survivors are: Ronnie Addison of Burr Ferry, Glenda and John Breaux of Burr Ferry, Alice and Kevin Grevemburg of Porter, Texas, Gail and Michael Calhoun of Sulpur Springs,
Texas and Pamela and Todd Jassen of Norfolk, Va; brother, Chester Addison of Leesville; 14 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
