Floy Haymon Gorham

Floy Haymon Gorham, 79, of Waco, Texas, passed away peacefully Friday, April 9, 2010 in Dallas. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors Chapel with the Reverend Susan Gorham
Robb of Dallas, Texas and Elder J.R. Haymon of Marysville presiding over the services. Visitation was one hour prior to service.
Floy was born on April 28, 1930 to Elias and Ruby Haymon of Leesville. Floy and her husband John L.
Gorham owned National Stage Equipment Company in Waco, Texas for over 25 years.
Floy was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 49 years, her son Johnny and sister Phoebe Edwards.
Floy was a caring
mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her zest for life and contagious laughter will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by those she has left behind. These include her daughter Susan Robb and husband Ike of Dallas, Texas; her son Mike
Gorham and wife Karen of Dallas, Texas; brother J.R. Haymon and wife Estelle; brother Osville Haymon and wife Dorothy; grandchildren, Melissa Trocko and her husband Charlie, Caroline and James Robb, John Michael and Jennifer Gorham; great
grandchildren, Katie and Thomas Heese and Michael and Charlie Trocko; as well as a myriad of cousins, nieces and nephews, many of whom claimed her as a second mother. Her family, friends, business associates and former employees will remember her
fondly as someone who cared deeply and gave of herself fully.
