Yowama Self, 87, of Anacoco, died on Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at Byrd Hospital in
Leesville.
She was born on April 27, 1922 in Natchitoches.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Moses Freeman and Bertie Sims Freeman; husband, Lud L. Self; one son, Mose Self; five brothers and one
sister.
She is survived by three daughters, Ida Liles, of Anacoco, Kelly Bonneau of, Anacoco, and Zoe Whitt of Myrtle, Miss.; four sons, Mann Self, of Anacoco, Max Self, of Anacoco, Lud Self, of Anacoco and Marty Self of, Anacoco; one
brother, Jimmy Freeman of Negreet; along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Rocky Mount Methodist Church, Robeline.
Interment will be in Lambert Town Cemetery.
The family will receive friends beginning at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, April 16, 2010, at Rocky Mount Methodist Church.
