Visitations for Iris Y. Cavanaugh Moore, 88, of Leesville will be held Saturday, March 13, 2010 from 2
p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville. Graveside services will be held at a later date in Pennsylvania.
Iris, the daughter of Hobby and May McManus Cavanaugh, was born on April 10, 1921 in Leesville. She
passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at the Woodlands Health Care Center in Leesville. Mrs. Moore worked at the Vernon Parish Health Unit and also worked in real estate for over 30 years. She was a member of East Leesville Baptist Church. She will
be sadly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Charles J. Moore and her brother, Wallace T. Perkins.
She is survived by her son, Steven Moore of Bridgeville, Pa.; brother,
Perry Cavanaugh of Leesville; nieces and nephews, Cheryl Cavanaugh Borders of Leesville, Loy Arnold of Greely, Colo., Edward Cavanaugh of Monument, Colo. and Ryan Cavanaugh of Springfield, Mo.; seven great nieces and nephews and seven great great
nieces and nephews.
