Funeral services for Mary H. Walker, 78, of Leesville will be held Monday, March 1, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the First United Pentecostal Church in Leesville with Rev. John Burns, Rev. M.C. Green, Rev. Dale Mortenson, and Rev. Mark Christian
officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Leesville. Visitation will be Sunday, February 28 from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home and on Monday, March 1 from 9 a.m. until service time at the church. Services are under the
direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville.
Mary, the daughter of Floyd Jefferson and Nora Mae Weldon Hardcastle, was born on September 8, 1931, in Florien. She passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Byrd
Regional Hospital in Leesville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Walker; son, James Daniel “Danny” Walker, Jr.; daughter, Judi Walker Dekarskey; parents, Floyd and Nora Hardcastle; brother, Jarvis Hardcastle and sisters,
Betty Prewitt and Katherine Hodnett.
She is survived by daughters, Dianne Page of Leesville and Christie and husband, Steven Bishop of Leesville; brother, James Paul and wife Molly Hardcastle of Conroe, Texas; sisters, JoElla and
husband, Bill Berger of Canton, Ohio and Pat and husband, Troy “Red” Nolen of Leesville; nine grandchildren, Holley Pechota O’Donnell, James Lewis “Jim” Pechota, Ami Denee’ Green, Brandon Page, Merissa Walker, Melissa Allen, Krista Corbitt, Jamie
Bishop and Christopher Bishop and seven great grandchildren, Lauren Pechota O’Donnell, Austin Pechota, Meghann Pechota, Mason Green, Faith Green, Madison Page and Jax Daniel Allen.
